Young Life in Green Bay
Young Life began in Green Bay because a group of local caring adults wanted to bring it here. They started by meeting in someone's living room in 2003...to pray, plan and dream. The first Club took place in Green Bay in January of 2004, and the local ministry has flourished ever since!
8,500
young people in our community
Whether it's in cities or villages, towns or tower blocks, in countries on every continent, Young Life leaders are working with kids right in their own neighborhoods. We are just scratching the surface when it comes to reaching kids.
6
Schools with Young Life Presence
Today, Young Life is present in 6 schools in Green Bay: East, Preble, Bay Port and De Pere High Schools, Washington and Edison Middle Schools. There are many High Schools and Middle Schools where Young Life is not present. Through prayer, we are hoping a door is open to be able to reach even more kids in these schools.
80
KIDS INVOLVED WEEKLY
Young Life leaders have walked with kids and earned the right to be heard in an exhausting and exciting world. Our goal as an area is to reach, build relationships and know kids by name with 150 kids weekly.
55
Adult Volunteer Leaders & Mentors
Young Life Leaders and Mentors are caring adults who spend time walking alongside kids wherever they are at; whether that is through Contact work at sporting events or other activities, or a Young Life gathering like Club or Campaigners.
29
Adults serving on a Committee
Committee is for adults who get excited about adolescents hearing of God's love for them, and are willing to serve from the sidelines to support that effort. There are various types of committees available to serve on: Executive Committee, Individual Area Sub-Committees, Finance Committee, Event Planning Committees and more!
